PRIVATE KEY LOSS

If you lose your private keys or recovery seed, your cryptocurrency is permanently lost and cannot be recovered.

IRREVERSIBLE TRANSACTIONS

Cryptocurrency transactions are permanent and irreversible. Meton Wallet cannot reverse transactions.

METON CANNOT RECOVER FUNDS

If you send funds to the wrong address, Meton Wallet cannot recover them.

Meton Wallet does not insure your cryptocurrency against loss, theft, or hacks.

Unlike banks, Meton Wallet is not FDIC insured.

Meton Wallet is not a bank, financial institution, or investment company.

Meton Wallet does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 Agreement

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Meton Wallet (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Meton Wallet is provided by LedgerMind ("Company," "we," "us," "our").

1.2 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LedgerMind regarding your use of Meton Wallet.

1.3 Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Meton Wallet after modifications constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Service Description

2.1 What Meton Wallet Is

Meton Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet software that allows you to:

  • Store cryptocurrency private keys on your device
  • Send and receive cryptocurrency
  • Swap tokens across blockchains
  • Manage multiple wallets
  • View account balances
  • Estimate transaction fees

2.2 Non-Custodial Nature

Important β€” Meton Wallet is a non-custodial wallet:

  • β†’You, not LedgerMind, hold your private keys
  • β†’Your private keys are stored on your device
  • β†’LedgerMind cannot access your cryptocurrency
  • β†’LedgerMind cannot freeze your account
  • β†’LedgerMind cannot reverse transactions
  • β†’LedgerMind cannot recover lost or stolen funds

2.3 What Meton Wallet Is Not

βœ—A bank or financial institution
βœ—A cryptocurrency exchange
βœ—An investment advisor
βœ—A brokerage firm
βœ—An insurance provider
βœ—A guarantee of security

3. Eligibility & Restrictions

3.1 Age Requirements

  • βœ“At least 18 years old
  • βœ“Of legal age in your jurisdiction
  • βœ“Capable of entering a binding contract

3.2 Jurisdiction Restrictions

Not available to users in:

  • βœ—Countries under international sanctions
  • βœ—Regions where crypto is banned
  • βœ—Areas where we cannot comply with local laws

3.3 Prohibited Users

  • βœ—Specially Designated Nationals (SDN)
  • βœ—OFAC blocked persons list
  • βœ—Subject to US trade sanctions
  • βœ—Engaging in illegal activities
  • βœ—Money laundering or terrorism
  • βœ—Violating export control laws

4. Your Responsibilities

4.1 Account Security

βœ“Keeping your PIN confidential
βœ“Enabling biometric authentication
βœ“Not sharing your private keys
βœ“Keeping your device secure
βœ“Maintaining a secure device password
βœ“Updating software regularly
βœ“Installing security patches

4.2 Recovery Seed

⚠️ Your 24-word recovery seed is the ONLY way to recover your cryptocurrency if you lose your phone.

β†’Write it on paper (not digital)
β†’Store it in a safe place
β†’Never photograph it (unless encrypted)
β†’Never email it
β†’Never store on cloud services
β†’Never give it to anyone
β†’Never type it into websites

If someone has your recovery seed, they have access to all your crypto.

4.3 Your Conduct

You agree not to:

βœ—Use Meton Wallet illegally
βœ—Send funds to illegal addresses
βœ—Participate in fraud or scams
βœ—Engage in money laundering
βœ—Fund terrorism or illegal activities
βœ—Violate sanctions or export controls
βœ—Harass, threaten, or harm others
βœ—Modify or reverse-engineer the software
βœ—Attempt to hack the system
βœ—Create unauthorized copies
βœ—Interfere with Service operation

5. Security Gate & Fraud Detection

5.1 What Security Gate Does

  • βœ“Checks transaction addresses for fraud
  • βœ“Validates token contracts
  • βœ“Analyzes address history
  • βœ“Estimates transaction fees
  • βœ“Provides warnings and alerts

5.2 What Security Gate Does NOT Do

  • βœ—Does not prevent all scams
  • βœ—Is not 100% accurate (false positives possible)
  • βœ—Cannot recover lost funds
  • βœ—Cannot reverse transactions
  • βœ—Is not a guarantee of security
  • βœ—Cannot detect sophisticated social engineering

5.3 User Responsibility

You are responsible for reading Security Gate warnings carefully, researching addresses independently, verifying recipients, and making final decisions about transactions.

Just because Security Gate shows green does not mean the transaction is 100% safe. Use your judgment.

9.2 Cap on Liability

In no case shall LedgerMind be liable for more than $100 (or the amount you paid for Meton Wallet, if any).

9.3 No Responsibility for Transactions

We are not responsible for accuracy of transaction information, correctness of recipient addresses, irreversibility of blockchain transactions, lost or misdirected funds, failed swaps, slippage, or gas fee calculations.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LedgerMind from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of law
  • Your use of Meton Wallet
  • Your conduct or actions
  • Claims from third parties
  • Any damages or costs
  • Legal fees and expenses

11. Prohibited Activities

βœ—Participate in money laundering
βœ—Fund terrorism or illegal causes

βœ—Engage in fraud or scams

βœ—Engage in market manipulation
βœ—Send spam or malicious code

12. Termination

LedgerMind may terminate or suspend your access if you:

  • β†’Are a prohibited user
  • β†’Engage in prohibited activities
  • β†’Cease being eligible
  • β†’Request termination

  • β†’Your cryptocurrency remains on the blockchain
  • β†’You can access via recovery seed on another wallet
  • β†’You retain responsibility for your private keys

13. Compliance with Law

Meton Wallet complies with applicable laws. We may block access from certain countries, restrict features, comply with government requests, or modify the Service for compliance.

13.2 Tax Responsibility

You are responsible for:

If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

18.3 Waiver

Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.

18.4 Relationship

You and LedgerMind are independent parties. No partnership, employment, or agency is created.
