What Does a Green Alert Mean?
Green means all 5 Security Gate checks passed. The address is valid, not flagged for fraud, the token is legitimate, the sender/receiver has good history, and the fee is clear. Safe to send.
What Does a Yellow Alert Mean?
Yellow means something is unusual or flagged. Maybe the address is brand new (less than 7 days old), or it has some suspicious activity, or the contract is unaudited. You can proceed with yellow alerts if you're confident, but review carefully first.
What Does a Red Alert Mean?
Red means Meton Wallet strongly recommends NOT sending. The address might be known for scams, the token is likely fake, or the contract exhibits rug-pull patterns. You can manually override red alerts, but you do so entirely at your own risk.
Can I Turn Off Security Gate?
No. Security Gate runs on every transaction. It's always protecting you. You cannot disable it, but you can override its warnings if you choose to proceed.
Is Security Gate 100% Accurate?
No system is perfect. Security Gate is very accurate, but false positives (flagging legitimate addresses) and false negatives (missing actual scams) can happen. Use Security Gate as one layer of protection, but also use common sense and verify addresses independently.
