Terms and Conditions
Version 2026-09-09 · Last updated September 9, 2026
The agreement between you and LedgerMind LLC for using the Meton Wallet Web App to order and manage virtual payment cards.
1. Who we are and what this covers
“Meton”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean LedgerMind LLC, operator of the Meton Wallet Web App available at metonwallet.com (the “Service”). These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and LedgerMind LLC governing your access to and use of the Service.
The Service lets you order a virtual payment card, pay for that order once in cryptocurrency, and then manage the card (view details, freeze, view transactions, top up, or terminate). The Meton Wallet mobile application is a separate product with its own terms; these Terms apply only to the Meton Wallet Web App.
By accessing the Service, ticking the acceptance box during email verification, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
You must not be a resident of, or located in, a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by the United States (including OFAC), the United Nations, the United Kingdom or the European Union, and you must not be a person with whom we or our partners are prohibited from dealing under applicable sanctions or export-control laws.
The Service may not be available in all locations. We may decline to provide the Service, or a particular card product, to anyone, at any time, where required by law, by a partner, or by our risk and compliance policies.
3. Identifying you — email and verification
There is no account registration. We identify you by an email address that you verify with a one-time code we send to it. You are responsible for keeping access to that inbox secure and for all activity carried out after a valid code is entered.
You may optionally enable an authenticator-app (TOTP) second factor. If you enable it, you are responsible for retaining access to that authenticator; we cannot recover it for you.
You agree that the information you give us (including any name used on a card and any campaign or review information) is accurate, current and your own. Providing false, misleading or third-party information is a material breach of these Terms.
4. The cards
Cards made available through the Service are issued by licensed Visa or Mastercard card-program providers and their banking partners (together, the “Card Providers”), not by LedgerMind LLC. LedgerMind LLC acts as a technology intermediary and marketing interface between you and the Card Providers.
Your use of an issued card is also subject to the applicable Card Provider’s cardholder terms, which are presented or made available to you and which may impose their own eligibility, verification (including KYC), usage, limit and dispute rules. Where those cardholder terms conflict with these Terms in respect of the card itself, the cardholder terms govern the card.
Cards are virtual and denominated in US dollars. Spending is subject to the balance loaded on the card, to network acceptance, and to the Card Provider’s controls. We do not guarantee that any given merchant, merchant category, or country will accept a card.
A Card Provider may decline, hold, reverse or freeze a transaction, or suspend or close a card, for its own risk, fraud, compliance or legal reasons. We will pass on such actions and are not liable for them.
5. Non-custodial model — we do not hold your funds
The Service does not operate a wallet or a stored balance for you. Every card order and every top-up is a single, one-time payment that you make in cryptocurrency through our third-party crypto payment processor at the time of that order.
When your payment is confirmed on-chain, we instruct the Card Provider to issue or fund the card from our own settlement funds with that provider. We never take custody of your cryptocurrency; it is received and settled by the payment processor.
Cryptocurrency payments are irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain. You are solely responsible for sending the correct amount, on the correct network, to the address shown on the payment invoice before it expires.
6. Pricing, fees and taxes
Before you pay, the Service shows the full price of your order: the card issuance fee (which a campaign or discount code may reduce), the amount you choose to load onto the card, a top-up fee calculated as a percentage of that load amount, and a payment-processing fee calculated as a percentage of the subtotal. The total shown is the amount payable.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in these Terms. Prices and fees may change; the price that applies to an order is the one displayed at the time you place it.
Amounts are quoted in US dollars and settled in the cryptocurrency you select at the exchange rate applied by the payment processor at payment time. Network (gas) costs to send your payment are your responsibility.
You are responsible for any taxes arising from your use of the Service or a card.
7. Campaigns and discount codes
We may offer promotional campaigns (for example, a reduced or waived issuance fee for installing the Meton Wallet mobile app and leaving a genuine public review) and discount codes.
Each campaign may be used once per person. A promotional review must be genuine, must be written by you, and must remain published. We record the store and the reviewer name you provide and will not allow the same review to be used again, by you or by anyone else.
For a campaign that requires a review, your payment is taken when you place the order and your card is issued only after we have verified that the campaign conditions are met. If we cannot verify them, your card is not issued; contact support to arrange a refund of what you paid. We may withhold or reverse a promotional benefit, and suspend the Service, where we reasonably believe a campaign or code has been abused, gamed, or obtained by false information.
8. Order processing, review and refusal
After payment confirms, an order without a review requirement is issued automatically; an order under a review campaign is placed in a manual review queue and normally decided within a few hours. We will email you when your card is issued, or if the order is refused.
We may refuse or cancel an order, or refuse to issue or fund a card, where we or a Card Provider identify a compliance, sanctions, fraud or legal concern, where information you provided is inaccurate, or where the Card Provider declines. If an order is refused after payment for reasons not caused by your breach of these Terms, we will refund the amount you paid, less any irrecoverable third-party network or processing cost, using a method we reasonably determine.
9. Anti-money-laundering and source of funds
We and the Card Providers operate anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorist-financing and sanctions-screening controls. We may monitor, investigate, delay or decline activity that appears high-risk, and we may ask you for a declaration of the source of your funds and for identity or supporting documentation.
If you do not respond to such a request, or if we are required to do so, we may suspend or terminate your access, refuse or unwind a transaction, and file reports with the relevant authorities. We may be prohibited by law from telling you that we have done so.
10. Acceptable use
You must use the Service and any card only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited activity includes fraud, deception, money laundering, sanctions or export-control evasion, financing of terrorism, and buying or selling goods or services that are illegal in your jurisdiction or the transaction’s jurisdiction.
We may suspend or terminate your access, void promotional benefits, freeze or terminate a card (through the Card Provider), and take legal action, if we reasonably believe you have breached the Acceptable Use Policy.
11. Your responsibilities for card security
Treat your card number, expiry date, security code and any one-time codes as confidential. Do not share them except to complete a payment you are making.
Use the freeze control if you suspect your card details are compromised, and terminate the card if the compromise is confirmed. Termination is permanent. Report suspected fraud to us and to the Card Provider promptly. Your rights to dispute or be refunded for unauthorised or disputed transactions are those provided by the Card Provider’s cardholder terms and by applicable law.
12. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including the Card Providers, a crypto payment processor, an email delivery provider and cloud infrastructure. Those parties have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions, and their unavailability may affect the Service.
13. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text and marks, is owned by or licensed to LedgerMind LLC and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Cryptocurrency values are volatile and cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. You use cryptocurrency to pay for orders at your own risk. We do not provide investment, tax or legal advice.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LedgerMind LLC and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service and these Terms will not exceed the total fees (excluding the amount loaded onto cards) that you paid to us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
16. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless LedgerMind LLC and its personnel from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, your misuse of the Service or a card, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and terminate any active card from your account.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, and instruct the termination of a card, immediately and without notice, for security, risk, compliance or legal reasons, or if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including fees owed, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) survive.
18. Changes to the Service and to these Terms
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. We may update these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy; when we make a material change we will update the version date and, where the change affects your rights, ask you to accept the new version the next time identity verification is required. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to any non-waivable right you have to bring proceedings in your local courts, you and LedgerMind LLC submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.
TODO: legal review — confirm governing law, venue, and whether an arbitration / class-action-waiver clause should be added for the relevant markets.
20. General
These Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours to an affiliate or successor.
