Acceptable Use Policy
Version 2026-09-09 · Last updated September 9, 2026
What you may and may not do when using the Meton Wallet Web App and any card issued through it.
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) applies to everyone who uses the Meton Wallet Web App operated by LedgerMind LLC (the “Service”) and to the use of any virtual payment card ordered through it. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms and Conditions. Where this Policy uses “we”, “us” or “Meton”, it means LedgerMind LLC.
2. Lawful use only
You may use the Service and any card only for lawful purposes and only in a way that complies with this Policy, our Terms and Conditions, the applicable Card Provider’s cardholder terms, the Visa and Mastercard scheme rules, and all laws that apply to you and to your transactions.
You are responsible for making sure your activity is legal in your jurisdiction and in any jurisdiction connected to a transaction.
3. No custody, no transfers, no deposit refunds
The Service does not hold a balance for you. Each order is a one-time payment. You may not use the Service to store value, to move value between people, or as a means of transfer or remittance.
The amount you load onto a card is spending power on that card, provided by the Card Provider; it is not a deposit with us and is subject to the Card Provider’s rules. Fees are non-refundable except as stated in the Terms and Conditions or required by law.
4. Prohibited activities
You must not use the Service or a card to do, attempt, facilitate or support any of the following:
• Fraud, deception, phishing, account takeover, use of stolen, synthetic or third-party identity or payment credentials, or any unauthorised transaction.
• Money laundering, structuring, layering, or disguising the origin, ownership or destination of funds; terrorist financing or proliferation financing.
• Breaching or evading sanctions, embargoes or export controls, or transacting with sanctioned persons, entities or territories.
• Illegal gambling or betting, or gambling that is unlicensed in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Buying, selling or funding: controlled substances or drug paraphernalia; unlicensed pharmaceuticals; weapons, ammunition, explosives or their components; stolen goods; counterfeit or infringing goods; endangered species or protected wildlife products.
• Child sexual abuse material, or any content or service that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, human trafficking, forced labour, or the sale of persons or organs.
• Ransomware, malware, hacking tools or services, credential marketplaces, or facilitating unauthorised access to systems or data.
• Ponzi, pyramid or matrix schemes, “money flipping”, guaranteed-return investment schemes, or other financial scams.
• Purchasing or funding cryptocurrency mixing/tumbling services, or transactions whose evident purpose is to obscure a fund trail.
• Evading a lawful court order, tax obligation, or a bona fide debt.
• Bulk or automated ordering, reselling access to the Service, or creating multiple identities to obtain promotional benefits more than once.
• Using another person’s review, or a fabricated, paid, incentivised (beyond our own campaign) or removed review to claim a campaign benefit.
• Any activity that Visa, Mastercard, a Card Provider, or a regulator prohibits, or that would expose them or us to material legal or reputational risk.
5. Restricted activities
The following may be blocked, limited, or require additional checks, and a Card Provider may decline them at its discretion: adult content and services; marijuana and CBD businesses; firearms-adjacent retailers; multi-level marketing; high-risk cross-border remittance; unregistered money-services businesses; certain cryptocurrency exchanges and OTC desks; and transactions in merchant categories the Card Provider does not support.
6. Honest information and one benefit per person
Information you give us — including any name placed on a card, and the store and reviewer name for a review campaign — must be true, current and your own. Each promotional campaign may be claimed once per person. We record review details to prevent reuse and may refuse or reverse a benefit obtained through inaccurate information or multiple identities.
7. Security and integrity of the Service
You must not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service; interfere with or overload it; circumvent authentication, rate limits or geographic restrictions; scrape it at scale; or use it in a way that could damage, disable or impair it or interfere with another person’s use.
8. Monitoring and enforcement
We and the Card Providers may monitor use of the Service and cards for compliance with this Policy and applicable law. We may investigate suspected violations and request information, including a source-of-funds declaration and supporting documents.
Where we reasonably believe this Policy has been or is likely to be breached, we may, without prior notice: refuse, delay, reverse or cancel a transaction or order; withhold or claw back a promotional benefit; suspend or terminate your access to the Service; instruct the freezing or termination of a card; retain amounts to cover chargebacks, fines or losses; report the matter to law enforcement, regulators or the card schemes; and pursue any other remedy available to us.
9. Reporting abuse
To report suspected fraud, abuse of the Service, or content that violates this Policy, contact support@metonwallet.com. To report a security vulnerability, contact security@metonwallet.com.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. When we make a material change we will update the version date and, where the change affects your rights, ask you to accept the updated version the next time identity verification is required. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
